| Hey Republicans, how's that old "deregulation" working for you?Perhaps you should try something sensible like sound regulation, and pro-active tax policies that promote healthy, diversified, domestic industries. Make the deregulated criminal types in suites actually take responsibility for their actions and provide carrot and stick incentives that promote job growth (that is good paying jobs, not more minimum wage, food-stamp inducing jobs). Conservatives tend to become...well, more conservative and less rational when they see their disastrous policies running the nation into the ground and blame other "boogie men" like the working poor for the monsters they create. |

I'm amazed with how SixRevisions games Digg's voting system all the time. I'm bored of they are asking me for diggs on IM.
Kingdom Hearts - a great game that is like the lego series, but with more engrossing play.

“obviously the car companies couldn't make a profit off of any of the EVs of that error, because they REFUSED to sell any of them! (aside from a handful of Toyota Rav4-EV which are still being driven today, and invalidate any arguments put forward by the likes of GM that they "couldn't" sell the cars because of liability concerns or whatever.)even with the ridiculously low gas prices of the time, thousands of people still wanted these cars. believe it or not, some people are actually smart enough to realize that when gas is cheap it doesn't stay that way for long; and there are many other benefits to electric propulsion besides decreased fuel costs. every single EV offered for lease was snapped up, with long waiting lists, and those lucky enough to get one protested furiously when their cars were forcibly taken back and crushed.

It will also add extra weight and unneeded complexity to cars bought by people who really don't give two damns how fuel efficient it is(but rather care whether the car makes you ***** your pants when you floor it)..
Is Ascii porn against company policy?!

I've been meaning to see Deadwood for many years now, I should stop wasting time and just buy those.?
I just turned 65, and I reckon I've got another 20 years in me. But if I contract inoperable cancer, or there's some similar reason for packing it in in the next couple of decades, I completely reject *anyone's* "right" to tell me I can't resign from life. Struggling to survive when you're 25 is one thing. Insisting somebody in a retirement home (or wherever) squeeze out another 18 months, just because *you* feel queasy about suicide, is arrogant and obscene.Like several other posters here, I've watched a few elderly relatives waste away into physical and mental helplessness, and it's a pretty horrifying process. Actually, having led a "life of the mind" for six decades, what scares me is the always present possibility of Alzheimer's. I probably could deal with being chair- or bed-bound, as long as my brain functions. If that goes, I see no point in continuing. I have no interest in vegetablehood. |

I just can't understand it. Why doesn't Glenn Beck produce the documentation proving that he did not murder and rape that girl in 1990? What is he hiding? Why does the mainstream media just ignore the issue of this innocent girl's rape and murder? I want answers!

It's never really capitalism when the Government is the "customer". Responsibilities that are clearly the Governments' should not be handed off to a middle man who gets to pocket the extra he "saves" by doing a shady job. The whole reason we trust tasks like "holding people against their will" only to a democratic government is exactly so they WON'T cut corners with the process.

SteveMTyler,So, whatever your native language is, you should try posting in that. Even if it's Mandarin it will be more understandable than that post was. |
