Those teachers are the worst ones, by the way. I've been studying education and learning styles for a couple years now, and the students who have the worst "test scores" (which I hate standardized testing) tend to have the teachers who take no interest in actually teaching - all they do is read right out of a book. I, as a teaching assistant, have taught my students more about Biology in one semester than they have learned in their entire lives because I took an interest in them - yet, I'll get paid much less than someone who phoned it in years ago because they got tenure. Do away with tenure, then you'll see that teaching is NOT just "something someone off the street" can do. You don't have to be remotely smart to re-read a book. That's how most teachers teach, and our education system is completely ***** up because of it...most of the students produced can barely read a whole book, balance a checkbook, or make an informed decision about whether or not to buy a product advertised on TV as being the "next miracle weight-loss pill!". To be someone who has made a person better not only in learning a subject, but giving them the tools they'll need to rationally think in the future...that, my friend, takes a special kind of person. No monkey could do that.

“I have never heard of a full-fare paying customer being denied a seat because of their dress, but I know there is a dress code that applies to non-revenue passengers, and I would guess that the miles upgrade made his first class ticket technically non-revenue (no cash was payed for the upgrade.) That being said, gate agents are usually pretty lax about that kind of thing unless the customer is being a giant douchebag.

Ok I will try to answer myself... After Installing almost all of them it seems Munin is the one I prefer... It did not need any configuration, simply install and go to localhost/muninThere are also many plugins avalaible online that can monitor almost anything. So I think this is going to be my choose. Cacti is too advanced. Monit seems nice, but it takes some time to configure and setup properly. You have to do that through config files, so I am not going to use right now..

Most politicians are lawyers, so they protect their craft by limiting entry (via licensure) and increasing possible "winnings" (via legislation).Anesthesiologists will be forced to take a paycut once health care is nationalized.?
http://www.alipac.us/article-4630-thread-1-0.html the gov really wants their hands in everything, but using the flu as an excuse to throttle?? "Private Internet providers might need government authorization to block popular websites, it said, or to reduce residential transmission speeds to make way for commerce." now this is messed up! |

Im all for nuclear power, it's an efficient method of producing energy, however using it to power a spacecraft doesn't fill me with great confidence. Spacecraft have a tendency to pretty much explode if something goes wrong, if that happened with a nuclear material on board your going to have a lot of fallout in the atmosphere that could spread radioactive material over thousands of miles. |
