@benroyYou are the one who needs to learn how to efficiently use Google. Allisonaxe is 100% correct. V was a mini-series in 1983 that ran for two 90 minute nights. It was followed by the sequel/last half of the story entitled 'V: The Final Battle' the following year in which it ran for three 90 minute nights.A crappy spinoff was created under a similar name which failed later that year, which is what I assume you were referring to.
But still! Where did the lighter fluid come from?

Why, FFS, do we keep getting all these ideas for quick fixes? ***** ***** ass, we have to change our lifestyles. We cannot just have one awesome technology come along and keep living our lives the same way. It just isn't that easy. And global warming is not the only problem... changing weather could affect ecosystems in other ways. I'll probably get buried for being "anti-science" but anyone with half a brain knows we shouldn't just do ***** without THOROUGHLY investigating potential side effects and results. Easy quick fixes rarely work the way they are intended and often have unintended consequences... which can be worse than the problem they "fixed." We need to stop using so many resources and re-examine our lifestyle. I'm NOT saying we don't need technology (it can be amazingly helpful) but we need to be realistic.!

at least your childish name calling comment is relevant.....if you are trying to demonstrate that you are a retard incapable of writing something intelligent.?
A for-profit prison industry is just insane. Check out these charts (from wikipedia): http://progressivenation.us/wp-content/uploads/200 ..."The for-profit prison indusÂtry boomed, and the incarÂcerÂaÂtion rate climbed to the highÂest in the world, surÂpassÂing China, RusÂsia, South Africa, Iran, North Korea, and every other counÂtry that is typÂiÂcally demoÂnized in the AmerÂiÂcan media as a bruÂtal dicÂtaÂtorÂship that oppresses their peoÂple. In fact one out of every thirty two AmerÂiÂcans is curÂrently either behind bars or on proÂbaÂtion." http://progressivenation.us/2009/09/24/the-progres ...Can anyone guess when the rate of incarceration began to skyrocket and why? |

@Bentleyk9read my comment again. I said the 4th rev won't come out until 2 years after the 3G contracts are up. this happened with the 3G[s] [...] it was very much a huge step up from the original iPhone.the 3G[s] was roughly 2 years after the original iPhone. it may not have been a huge step up from the 3G, but it was for original iPhones. the same could possiably happen with the 3G (second gen) iPhone, moving to the 4th gen.Odd numbered releases as an upgrade path for original owners, and even numbered releases for the 3G owners. So the 5th Gen will set up from the 3rd gen, the 6th gen a step up from the 4th gen, etc.simple math, learn2abacus

That was a different generation. My generation has always been sceptical with extreme nationalism, including the United States with their flag-waving ways.If anything, it's a West German vs. East German (Wessi vs Ossi) schism that still exists today, 20 years after the Wall came down. West Germans are seen by the East Germans to be arrogant, greedy pigs who care about nothing but how much money they can make. East Germans are seen by West Germans as lazy, ungrateful slobs who don't thank us enough for the fact we paid hundreds of billions to get them new roads, railways, telecommunications networks, and the like.As a West German I just think the Easties need more of a pick-up-and-go attitude. If the town you live in has no jobs, pack up the car and piss off. That's what anyone in the states would do, instead of bleating about "the government to do something". That's exactly what they do, they lived for decades with socialism, and that's the way people still think today. It will take a few generations for this to fade into oblivion. We call in "the Wall in the heads", and it's invisible, but very resilient to change.

Customize, tweak, and add useful features like SBSettings, app categories, background apps, themes, tools, alternative mobile carriers, and a myriad of other things. Most importantly, you're free to run any code that Apple in their infinite wisdom might decide to reject. It opens the full potential of the device as a mobile computer instead of a locked down Apple console. I could not stand to use a locked down iphone at this point. It'd be nearly the equivalent of locking down my desktop machine in a similar capacity. It isn't for everyone though, if you're a lite user who doesn't care about features it won't make a difference.

Yes well Republicans won the votes, so there are plenty of Republicans who don't mind Obama even though he's being put forward as a combination of Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Nickleback by most popular right-wing pundits -- which I think would have led many people to diss him at any opportunity. |
