| There are so many things stupid about your comment. First of all, in September of 2001 some major event happened in America that caused Bush approval rating to jump nearly 50%, do you happen to remember what it was? Bush didn't really do anything to earn it, but its called rallying around the flag. If you want to compare pre 9/11 polls, Obama was about 5 points higher than Bush for the same time period. However, that is mostly irrelevant because its nearly 10 years later and things are a lot different now. If Obama was at 90% when Bush was at 30% I would no more compare the two than I would if Obama was at 30% when Reagan was at 60%. They are both equally irrelevant.Second of all, are you trying to deny that Obama inherited an economy in shambles, two wars, and a health care crisis? Whether it is right to still blame Bush aside, you seem to be denying the simple timeline of events in the last 5 years. Finally, should difficult and complicated legislation be 10 or 100 pages? I am trying to get a good idea on what is acceptable, because it is difficult to be thorough with really complex issues. |

Safari has also had a seven year head start in development. So, really, Safari should be further ahead. But it isn't because it's full of fail..
Around 35 sec. i thought they were going to stop fighting and start slow dancing!

Yep, i like these transport-systems. Reminds me to the Interstate Hydrogen Superhighway in Michigan http://tinyurl.com/n6mgvt?
It is a neat little hobby, but a hobby that will quickly turn frustrating when you realize that where you live (the imaging location) is more important than the astro equipment you own. |

Can someone explain why the story starts with "UPDATE: Alex was drowned, then stuffed in closet dryer. See update after the jump..." What jump? It's annoying enough when there is a link or an advert to "jump"... but in this case?

"A system where a few holds all the money never works. tax is necessary for government to operate"Two different arguments here, though. If a system where a few hold most of the money is a bad thing, then imposing a tax on companies is also a bad thing, as it means less opportunity to hire more people which contributes to wealth disparity."The problem is that companies on stock markets have to not just make the same amount of money as last year, they have to make MORE money or their stocks will go down. As they have to squeeze more and more money to keep profits high, they eventually have to cut wages and naturally move jobs off seas."Not quite. Businesses at any given time will be able to compete only so far, and where companies are unable to safely provide a margin for reinvesting and future operations and growth, this leads to more risk, which can lower the stock value more than if they were operating more conservatively.Growth of a company does not automatically mean sacrificing on wages either. Growth is about being able to do more overall.Regular investors who are strictly buying and selling keep the businesses on their toes, while more long term investors might get dividend options as an incentive to stay in and anchor the stock against volatility."At some point, either the rich will have to decide that ruining the American economy for stock value isn't worth the long term problem it produces (fat chance). or government will have to come in and force them to behave in an ethical manner."You say that like the government doesn't contribute to the problem. However stingy a company might be, unless they are colluding with politicians to establish anti-competitive regulation, they are still creating products and services that people want on a voluntary basis. This isn't the same model in government. Any activity which artificially increases the cost of business will be detrimental, which you can see when comparing national policies. |
