where do you get that assumption. all it says is that competition to date has not mastered the 3 areas listed in the article (which are good guidelines for any UI mobile device or not).it goes on to say "To me, it all boils down to just 3 things. If any phone manufacturer gets these 3 things right, they’ll beat the iPhone at its own game"!

@vinod1978: No I still think it's a matter of degree. Consider doorstep spam, it may be completely unsolicited, or I may not have read the fine print somewhere. Sometimes it supports the postal service like radio ads support the stations. I never opted in to having a billboard put up on my route to work, or for some guy to come up to me pampheteering, or leaving crap under my windshield wiper. There may be a way to opt out of cold calls and faxes, but mostly, nobody asks if its OK first. Intrusive, unwelcome, unsolicited spam, the lot of it.?
jp12380, you make a few assumptions. first, that that the people weren't in any danger. second, that the person was making "a little joke". anyone who points a laser at a plane knows its against the law, that the federal gov't can come down on you hard, and that the reason it's against the law is because it can impair pilot's vision. the guy was obviously pushing his luck.point is, it's not a black and white comparison between torturing/murdering dogs and endangering human lives. we don't know how much danger the passengers were exactly in. |
